Saturday Bike Club Session is cancelled.

De to large amounts of ice and snow on both the pitches and the circuit,  tomorrows session is cancelled. We will rearrange the Easter Hunt for next week.

Thanks to the snow fairies, Rose, James, Chris and Joe for helping to clear access for the Bulls game on Monday. We went to clear the track for tomorrow but had to admit defeat at the deep drifts at the bottom. If anyone wants to have a go at clearing more of the circuit, please feel free as it helps to thaw it quickly.

Club cancelled sat 23rd march

Snow, Snow and more snow.  Due to the spring weather we have to cancel club on Saturday. 

Cycle gear sale at Lidl

Lidl are holding a sale of cycle clothing and kit starting tomorrow. They usually have a good selection of tools and clothing, especially women's kit.

BMX bikes stolen

Hi all On 17th or 18th March Bradford BMX bandits had all their bikes stolen. This is very sad for all the children who attend this club and use the bikes and also upsetting for all the coaches and volunteers who are involved with the club. If you hear any information regarding the bikes or thieves then please contact the police. I hope the perpetrators of this crime can be caught and hopefully the bikes be found and returned so the children can enjoy them.

Sat 9th March - no bike club

There will not be a bike club on Saturday 9th March 2013 as the coaches are at a British Cycling conference.

Motocyclocross

A cross race with a difference.  Well done to everybody who took part.  It was a really early start for the U8, U10 and U12.

Both Fox cubs did really well in the race but Harry took the lead in the final lap as Olivia had to go back for her shoe.

Freya rode an excellent race and was well infront on the first lap.
George managed to lose his chain 10 times.

Aaron rode a brill ride on his new bike - he tried to ride up the slippy bridge got half way up and was last seen hanging onto the railing where a really nice person unclipped him.  He then got tangled with a boys handlebars on the sharp corner. Mybe the yellow attracts But he did enjoy the race and finished with a smile on his face.

No Club on Saturday 9th as all the coaches and volunteers are at the BC Go Ride Conference.

Don't forget:  Club Ride on Sunday 10th March as part of Ron's Ramnble:

To kick start the year we want as many members of possible to make a show of EBCC yellow on an accompanied 50kn road ride which is organised by Yorkshire Road Club and is called Ron's ramble. You don't need to pre-book.

 Minor roads/Selby cycle path
Suitable for Families - Social Ride.

Signing-on – Riders sign-on from 09:00
First Group Starts 09:15

Start/Finish/Parking  at Magnet Social Club, Tadcaster (junc A162/old A64)

Refreshments & Bar available at Finish

Entry: £1-50 per rider.
Groups of 12-18 riders. Certificates for all finishers.
